A survey by Rambler&Co found that only 4% of Russians celebrate Valentine’s Day, while 51% prefer to mark their relationship or marriage anniversary.
Another reason could be that Russia celebrates International Women’s Day on March 8th, a public holiday, and recently introduced Family, Love, and Fidelity Day on July 7th.
